All-new, redesigned third-generation Leaf switches from hatchback to crossover styling; entry trim of the fall-2026 launch lineup (S+, SV+, Platinum+). A lower-cost base 'S' grade with a smaller 52 kWh battery is planned to follow later, but isn't on sale yet. All launch trims share the same 75 kWh battery and 214 hp FWD motor; S+ has adaptive cruise as an option rather than standard, and ProPILOT Assist (lane centering) is standard only on SV+/Platinum+. Dual charge ports: NACS (DC fast charge, passenger fender) plus a J1772 Level 2 port on the driver's side.
