2026 is Tesla's final model year for the current Model S generation. Both trims are now AWD-only — the older single-motor/RWD base configuration has been dropped. No factory tow rating (aftermarket hitches exist, rated around 2,000 lb weight-carrying, but that's not an official Tesla spec). No Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support. Top speed is the as-delivered 163 mph: Tesla headlines 200 mph for the Plaid but its own footnote states that figure requires a paid hardware upgrade, and the car does 163 mph until that upgrade is bought.
