Rebased from MY2025 to MY2027 on 2026-09-02: Genesis no longer sells the 2025 car, and almost every headline figure changed - the battery went 77.4 to 84 kWh, EPA range 236 to 250 mi, and the lineup was restructured. In MY2025 'Prestige' was a $6,800 option package on a single Advanced trim; for MY2027 Genesis sells three distinct trims (AWD / Advanced AWD / Prestige AWD) and the base price dropped to $58,500. All three share one powertrain: 320 kW / 429 hp (a 10-second Boost Mode allows 360 kW / ~483 hp), 516 lb-ft, dual 160 kW motors. Range is EPA's single 2027 certification (id 50634, 250 mi) which does not split by wheel, so all three trims carry it; Genesis's own product guide separately advertises 'up to 263 miles', an unqualified best-case claim rather than the certified figure, and is not used here. Specs sourced from Genesis's 2027 Electrified GV70 product guide PDF: 84 kWh (published as 'Battery System Capacity' - Genesis does not state a usable figure), 350 kW DC / 10.9 kW onboard AC, 3,500 lb tow with brakes, 6.9 in minimum ground clearance, 28.7 / 56.5 cu ft cargo behind 2nd / 1st row. NOT re-verified for MY2027 and therefore left null rather than carried over from the 2025 record: 0-60 (Genesis says only 'approximately five seconds'), top speed, charge port type and heat pump - Hyundai Motor Group has been moving models to native NACS, so the 2025 record's CCS1 must not be assumed to still hold. This is the base AWD trim: 19-inch wheels (235/55R19), leather seating surfaces, 27-inch OLED display. Ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof and Bang & Olufsen audio are Advanced-trim additions.
